Actually no lie, Creationism, ID, and FSM were all submitted to the scientific community at the same convention. Creationism was dismissed due to not answering any questions and being unfalsifiable. ID was rejected because it was unfalsifiable. FSM was also rejected due to unfalsifiablity but it fulfilled more requirements of scientific scrutiny than the other two.

I agree. My cousin claims he overcame his chronic flatulence due to his praying to the Flying Spaghetti Monster. He never questions his faith in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Now, I can actually go near my cousin again, without having to cover my nose. There are a growing number of denominations devoted to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, each claims they worship him the “right” way while accusing the others of worshiping him the “wrong” way. Others just eat spaghetti.

I admit I am agnostic and have strong doubts about the Flying Spaghetti Monster’s existence. But I have the utmost respect for this belief.

Everyone who strongly doubts the Flying Spaghetti Monster hasn’t read enough of the theology concerning him. It truly is breath-taking, as well as logical, scientific and spiritual. I especially like the part about the Flying Spaghetti Monster’s son, Flying Spaghetti Monster Junior, coming to Earth to save mankind. And then the Holy Father Flying Spaghetti Monster sacrifices his only son out of his love for mankind, having him killed and letting people eat him for the sin of having eaten ziti. But Flying Spaghetti Monster Junior will return, and will bring peace and an endless supply of spaghetti for his followers, while killing all ziti and lasagna eaters.Again, I am agnostic, but how I wish I could believe in him and I am trying and hopefully one day I will restore my faith in the Flying Spaghetti Monster!

Christianity has a developed theology that’s really beautiful, and also provides the basis for all of western philosophy.
