I actually am rather close with someone who was nearly beaten into a coma because of the site ‘Godhatesgoths.com.” There is a protestant church that had a sermon about the dangers of ‘goth’ kids, and how they are damned to hell and convince others to join in cult activity’s and how they are all potential terrorist. This boy honestly believed he was doing the right thing by trying to “try to get him to understand why he is wrong, he will shoot up the school if no one does anything.” I’m shocked to say the very least. these are some of the warning signs that are givin on the site.
· Prays to Satan.

· Has friends who are losers. (ie. Doesn’t associate with Jocks, cheerleaders, preppies and other normal intelligent well-adjusted teenagers – the right sort of friends)
· Has bad personal hygene.

· Kills people for fun.

· Stays up late at night.

· Drinks human blood.

· Is a vegan/vegetarian. (Goths go from one extreme to the other)
· Watches MTV.

· Complains of headaches, boredom, nausea, stabbing pains or thirst.

· Is secretive.

· Spends large amounts of time alone.

· Spends large amounts of time with people you don’t know.

· Shoots his/her classmates.
Honestly, I’m hard to anger. But damn it if I don’t want to beat the man that gave this sermon. “All goths have AIDS because they drink human blood.” There’s now rumor that some of these protestant parents want to pull their children out of school because of the “satanic problems that aren’t being taken care of and the schools are putting our children by letting these goths,atheist,and Muslims go unchecked.” There’s something wrong with the world today, it’s falling apart. The last thing we need are these religious fuck-nuts starting more problems in our schools. as if there isn’t enough fear and bullying already for these kids.
